Two new guides

July 14th, 2010

Jump on over to the guides section and you’ll find we’ve got two new guides up.

The first guide Starters guide to RC Drift will get you up to speed on the basics of RC Drift and should give you an idea about some of the content we’ll be featuring in the near future.

In our second guide we show you the correct way to lock a ball type differential by using a process that’s reversible if you change your mind.

We’ve also got our forum up and running which you can check out here and we’re looking to fill the sponsors section. So if you sell any products that are RC drift related, email us and we’ll fill you in on the details to get your products up as soon as possible.

RCdna is born!

July 2nd, 2010

If you’re reading this then you’ll be among the first to set your eye’s on our new site. All across Australia the RC Drift phenomenon has taken off completely and we see no signs of it slowing down any time soon. What we’re aiming to provide the community is a central hub where we’ll be reporting on news and events all across the nation.

  • Events is where we’ll be listing and publicizing upcoming events for everyone to see, so if you’ve got an event planned then feel free to email us and send us the details and we’ll put up all the information for everyone to see.
  • The Featured section is where we’ll be adding readers cars that impress us. It doesn’t matter what sort of car it is, if it goes sideways then we want to know more about it. Even if it doesn’t look like anything hot, if you can slide its gears off then we want to know more about it.
  • Tracks will feature a database of all the RC Car tracks across Australia to help you find a local place for you to slide. We’ll be putting up directions and contact details as well as club website information to help the clubs get new members and help new members find the clubs.
  • Guides is pretty self explanatory. We’ll be adding guides that cover every aspect of the RC Drift scene, from beginners guides to counter steer setups, we’ll be covering all bases in great detail.
  • The forums will be a place for our readers to interact with each other. You’ll be able to buy and sell parts, show off your car and discuss all things RC Drift. We’ll be looking to get sponsors on board for the forum so that they can list their products direct to the people who want them.
  • And finally we have the Contact page, which oddly enough you can use to contact us.

Feel free to check out our Twitter and Facebook pages as well to keep up to date with all the latest news.

We’ll be making our presence known at a number of events this year so keep an eye out for us.
